Our customers have demanding expectations of their supply chains that we continue to meet and exceed. Within Armstrong Works the 20-tonne work piece weld manipulation capability, paint-shop, large capacity vertical and horizontal CNC machining centres, and 16,000m² of under-crane production space allows us to offer a complete and comprehensive inspection, assembly and test service to our clients.
Armstrong Works, previously a locomotive and aircraft facility, boasts 33,300m² of space and has been a central part of British engineering for over 160 years, formerly holding nicknames such as ‘Vickers Tank Factory’ and ‘The Workshop of The World’.
As of 2018 we expanded into the Port of Blyth, creating Rapid Manufacturing in order to focus on the mobilisation and dembolisation of offshore vessels, whilst still offering a huge range of processes.
Operating within an ISO 9001 quality management system means we are committed to delivering quality products on time. Dedicated project managers enable us to monitor and communicate progress for customers from order intake to dispatch. Our expansion into the Port of Blyth means we have the capability to ship products around the world.
