A new training centre focused on the development of vocational skills in engineering and welding has been launched by Responsive Engineering, based at Armstrong Works on Scotswood Road. The newly launched centre for education follows successful accreditation of Armstrong Works by engineering and manufacturing skills experts, EAL. The North East’s industrial capacity has received a significant boost with a host of investments at Armstrong Works announced by our parent company, Pearson Engineering. In a show of confidence in future programmes, Responsive Engineering’s manufacturing potential will be boosted by a new press brake, with a maximum bending force of 800 tonnes.
